Ebony Yarn

Ebony Yarn is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. She is a loving parent of one. Ebony started at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi as a work-study volunteer Jackson State University; where she was pursued a Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration and graduated as Magna Cum Laude. Upon graduating she was asked to stay as a full-time staff and as of January 2022, she was promoted to Executive Assistant. She loves working for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi because it gives her an opportunity to be a positive influence on the developing youth.

 

Daphine Hill, PHD

Daphine G. Hill is a native of Hazlehurst, Ms. She graduated from Hazlehurst High School and received a BA degree in Accounting from Millsap’s College in Jackson, MS. After graduation, Daphine went to work for IBM where she remained until she retired in 2006. While at IBM, she gained experiences in many areas including executive management, sales management, project management, consultant, and corporate training instructor. After retirement, Daphine received her Master’s in Political Science at Jackson State University and her PHD in Urban and Regional Planning from Jackson State University.

 

Edward Hunt

Edward is a Jackson native with a Bachelors degree in Art and a Minor in Graphic Design. He has been apart of the Boys & Girls Clubs since 2008. Edward Truly does enjoy working at the Boys & Girls Clubs and believes in the Organization’s Mission to the fullest.

 

Chris Herron

Chris is from Crystal Springs, MS and attended Jackson State University. While at Jackson State University, Chris obtained his degree in Accounting. Chris has had over 20 years experience in accounting and has been with the Boys & Girls Clubs since March 2016.

 

Leroy Sampson

Leroy Sampson is a native of Raymond, Mississippi, and has worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi for 7 years. Leroy has 2 sons and 1 daughter. He loves working for the Boys & Girls Clubs and is very dedicated. His primary goal is to maintain all buildings so the kids have a safe environment to learn and play.


Othor Cain

Othor has a degree in Business Administration and Management from Jackson State University.  He is an articulate reporter adept in all aspects of researching, writing and producing engaging news stories. Experienced with broad range of news beats and with both editorial and production processes. Additionally, I'm a versatile Radio Anchor with more than 25 years in broadcasting with experience in news, talk, variety and non-scripted formats. Poised and confident with strong speaking voice and talent for on-air interviewing.


Cedric Nunaley

Cedric is a team player with excellent leadership and organizational skills. He graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2000. In 2020 he graduated from Jackson State University with a Master of Science in Education. He prepared himself for the COVID-19 pandemic by getting an online certification in Contact Tracing from John Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is currently enrolled in the Jackson Heart Study Daniel Hale Williams Scholar National Institute of Health program.

McKinley Pierce

McKinley is a skilled restaurant leader focused on the guest and employee experience. He has 12 years of experience in the restaurant business and 15 years in the customer service field.
